Click mikroBUS™ Motor Driver Boards

Stepper 2 click mikroBUS™

The Stepper 2 click is an add-on board that driver bipolar stepper motors in micro-stepping modes. The Allegro MicroSystems A4988, DMOS Micro-stepping Driver with Translator and Overcurrent Protection operates directly the 2-phase step motor windings. With the translator, it is easy to drive a micro-step on the motor by simply inputting one pulse on the STEP input.

Note

Click board comes with the header strips soldered.

External motor power supply 7 to 35 V dc capable of 2A
Step motors in full, half, quarter, eighth and sixteenth-step modes
Three on-board jumpers (J1-J3) select the different stepping modes
3.3 V or 5 V power supply on mikroBUS socket
Thermal shutdown protection
Short circuit protection
